Chester-born Lizi MacGregor has been in the field of SEO (search engine optimisation) for a number of years. Before starting at Engage Web, Lizi was part of the SEO content team at Sykes Cottages, the UK’s leading holiday cottage destination brand. Lizi spent her days researching and producing content to gain top search rankings for Sykes, before moving to Engage Web where she now works on the SEO campaigns for clients in a multitude of industries.
Co-founded by Darren Jamieson and Lianne Wilkinson in 2009, Engage Web handles the digital marketing campaigns for clients ranging from start-up businesses to global brands across the UK, Australia, Canada and the United States.
We also supply other digital marketing agencies with content for their clients, and have produced nearly a quarter of a million pieces of content over the years – ALL written by humans, and edited by humans. We don’t use A.I. at Engage Web!
Do I need to bring anything?
All you need to bring is something to make notes with and some lunch – although there is a Costa, Subway and WHSmith located nearby.

We have actually been asked this question, hence we’ve added it here! While we all love dogs at Engage Web, and we’d like nothing more than seeing a dog in our office, we’re afraid we can’t allow attendees to bring their dogs with them in case other attendees have allergies or fears of your canine friends. Guide dogs and assistance dogs, however, are of course welcome.
